Stacy Graber

Board Member, Survivor

As an engaged and passionate board member, Stacy Graber brings the resilience of a cancer survivor and the heart of an educator who has spent 25 years in the classroom inspiring students of all ages. Her experiences have strengthened her commitment to service, compassion, and community. Outside of her professional and volunteer work, she finds joy in the simple things—baking for friends and family, getting lost in a good book, and tending to her garden. These activities remind her daily of the beauty in nurturing what matters most.

“My goal in joining the non-profit board of directors for Tricia’s Hope was not only to support one of my closest and dearest friends, but also to help steer the organization towards a sustainable future. Tricia and I met as undergraduate students at Purdue University in 1994, and my life hasn’t been the same since. We became fast friends at Purdue, and I had a feeling that this would be a friendship that would last a lifetime. Several years after our graduation, while a young wife and mother, Tricia was diagnosed with breast cancer. That devastating phone call changed her life forever; but once she recovered, it led her in a direction that focused on giving back. Tricia has always been a champion of courage and inspiration, and she uses her strength to help others who have been diagnosed with cancer, including me. Tricia’s Hope has expanded and grown into an organization that provides not only monetary support, but emotional support as well. I am proud and honored to be a member of the board of Tricia’s Hope.
