Application For Assistance
We thank you for your interest in Tricia’s Hope.
Due to a large increase in applications for aid, we will be working on supporting as many patients as possible, but are currently prioritizing local (West Central Indiana) recipients first before expanding outside our community.
Eligibility for Grant Applications
To qualify for a financial grant from Tricia’s Hope, INC, applicants must be currently undergoing active cancer
treatment and reside in one of the following Indiana counties: Tippecanoe, Benton, White, Cass, Carroll, Howard,
Clinton, Tipton, Boone, Hamilton, Hendricks, Marion, Montgomery, Putnam, Warren, Fountain, Vermillion, or
Parke.
Grant applications must be completed by either the patient, the patient’s primary caregiver, or partner, and may not
be completed by a member of the patient’s medical care team.
For the purpose of eligibility, “active treatment” refers to ongoing medical intervention for cancer, including
treatment aimed at curing the disease, achieving remission, or improving quality of life. This may include, but is not limited to, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy, and/or surgical intervention.
Financial grants are awarded on a case-by case basis. Individuals that meet the eligibility requirement may be
awarded 1 financial grant per calendar year as funds are available. Expenses approved for the use of the grants may
include the following:
- Mortgage payment
- Rent
- Utilities (electric, gas, water)
- Fuel
- Groceries
- Childcare expenses
- Lawn care or household maintenance
- Cleaning services
- Transportation to and from treatment (medical shuttle services).
